These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of NightSkyMemory (nightskymemory.com) and any purchase you make. NightSkyMemory is operated by Custom Output, a sole proprietorship based in Rhode Island, USA ("we," "us," "our"). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
What we sell
We create personalized digital star maps depicting the night sky for a date, time, and place you choose, along with a personalized digital card and a Certificate of Authenticity. We currently offer a digital product delivered electronically. We may introduce optional physical prints in the future; if we do, these Terms will be updated to cover them.

Accuracy of the star map
We calculate the position of the stars and the true phase of the moon for the date, time, and location you provide. The moon and decorative elements are rendered in a stylized, artistic manner and are positioned for visual effect; the star map is an artistic keepsake, not a scientific or navigational instrument. You are responsible for entering the correct date, time, and place — we render based on the details you submit.
Orders and pricing
- Prices are shown at checkout and may change at any time before purchase.
- Payment is processed securely by Stripe. By ordering, you authorize the charge for your selected option.
- We may decline or cancel an order (with a refund) in cases of suspected fraud, error, or inability to fulfill.
Delivery
Your digital star map, Certificate of Authenticity, and card are delivered electronically by email, typically within minutes of purchase, to the email address you provide. It is your responsibility to provide an accurate email address and to check your spam folder if you do not see your delivery. If you do not receive your order, contact us and we will resend it.
Refunds and cancellations
Because our products are personalized and delivered immediately, all sales are final once your order has been delivered, except where required by law. If there is a technical problem with your delivery, or a defect we caused, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will fix it or, at our discretion, issue a refund.

Your content and personalization
You are responsible for the names, messages, and details you submit. You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, or otherwise objectionable. We may refuse to produce any order containing such content. You grant us the limited right to use the details you provide solely to create and deliver your order.
Intellectual property
The website, designs, software, the NightSkyMemory name and logo, and all related materials are owned by Custom Output and protected by law. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-commercial license to use your finished star map for personal, gifting, and household purposes. You may not resell or commercially redistribute our designs or templates.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Custom Output's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service or a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version, and your continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
